Day 8 – Thieves Floor Cleaner
I told you Thieves has so many purposes! I mean come on! We are only on day 8 and you can pretty much ditch and switch 70% of your toxic cleaning products! Thieves for the win!
With little ones in the house, I want to make sure my floor is clean and toxic fee. Especially when my littlest starts crawling. I want a product that I can trust won’t have harsh chemicals and fragrance. Remember we don’t even know what fragrance is.
Here are two types of floor cleaner that you can make with your Thieves cleaner. One is for hardwood and the other is for tile, linoleum, or other floor types. I use a refillable spray mop to clean my floors. You can use a bucket as well.
How to make Thieves floor cleaner
Hardwood Floor Cleaner
– 2 capfuls of Thieves cleaner
– 1 TBSP of olive oil
– 5 drops of pine essential oil
– 4 cups of water
Regular Floor Cleaner
– 2 capfuls of Thieves cleaner
– 5 cups of water
– optional lemon or purification essential oil
In a hurry? Want to know my secret? Sometimes if I’m just wanting a light clean, I will get my Thieves multi-purpose cleaner bottle and spray my floor and wipe with my mop. I probably do this more than I should. 😉
