Day 22 – Thieves Plant Bug Repellent

I am all about the plants here lately. They are cozy and also help clean the air in my home! NASA recommends to have at least one plant per 100 square feet. These are my GOALS!

I use this spray only for my indoor plants. I have not used this in the garden! I have learned that it doesn’t help the best with ants. I am currently at war with ants and am about to have to bring in the pros. I think I have super ants or something.

Thieves Plant Bug Repellent

You will need:
– 16 oz amber glass bottle
– 10 drops of Thieves essential oil OR half a capful of Thieves household cleaner
– 10 drops peppermint oil
– 10 drops lemongrass oil
– 10 drops rosemary oil
– distilled water

Simply add all the ingredients in the bottle. Fill up with distilled water, shake, and spray. I spray the soil and leaves 3 times a day if I have pests and once a days as a preventative.

**Some plants do not like their leaves sprayed, such as Wandering Jew, so you need to make sure you know your plants before you spray their leaves. Try spraying on a single leaf first to see how it reacts.
