Day 12 – Thieves Laundry Boost
The past few days, we’ve talked about the toxic chemicals that are in our cleaning products such as dish soap, shampoos, soaps, and other cleaning products. If you missed it check it out below.
For the next few days, lets talk about laundry! I am particular about my laundry and I am learning along with you what works and what doesn’t. Unfortunately, sometimes non-toxic laundry detergent doesn’t work as well. I’ve tried this laundry boost and I can really tell the difference! Here’s how ya make it.
Thieves Laundry Boost
You will need:
– 1 1/2 of epsom salt
– 1/2 cup of baking soda
– 20 or 30 drops of Thieves essential oil (you can use any EO, but Thieves compliments by detergent)
– container for laundry boost
Simply mix all ingredients together in container. This, part is important, LET IT DRY before you cover because it will harden (trust me, I learned the hard way). I use a whisk to mix together but you can use a spoon or shake (don’t forget to uncover). I usually drop 10 drops of Thieves and mix until I get to 30. I add 3 TBSP to the bottom of my washing machine before I put clothes in!
